Bro has a tongue peircing, and for the longest time Dave thought something was wrong with him because HE didn’t have that weird bump on his tongue. So Dave kept putting things like beads into his mouth to try and mimic the way that Bro’s tongue looked, eventually…In around third grade, one of his friends stuck their tongue out at Dave and he FLIPPED, covered his friends mouth and was all like: “dude! you can’t just go showing that shit to people. questions are gonna come up.” His friend looked at him weird and pointed out that he was the  weird one, with a bead on his tongue. Dave got really upset and brought this up with his brother who led him into the bathroom and took out his tongue peircing in front of Dave. Dave was pissed at him for a LONG time because of that…His ENTIRE life was a lie. I imagine this must have been very stressful for 9 year old Dave Strider.
